I feel bad for the scientists who spent years and years getting their degrees only to eventually end up dressing up rats in lingerie.
I feel jealous of the scientists who get to spend their time dressing up rats in jackets.
who even thought it would be a good idea to put rats in lingerie
Who are we to deprive rats of the right to be sexy?

So, fun fact for all of you history dorks, but you know that legend about Cleopatra being so rich and trashy that she would drink her wine with crushed up pearls in it?
Pearls are mostly Calcium Carbonate. When they mix with acids (such as those in wine) they produce carbon dioxide like little balls of fancy alkaseltzer.
What Im saying is, call Cleopatra a trashy hoe all you want, but she was the trashy hoe who invented instant champagne. Bitch was living in 3018 while everyone else was in 18

Love is so important. And it’s everywhere.
I don’t mean romantic love. Sure, that’s nice too, but it’s not what i mean. Even love for family, friends, pets–all very nice, and i deeply appreicate all these things and the love they provide and share, but still, not what i mean. These are all parts of what i’m talking about, but i think noticing it elsewhere is the core of what i’m trying to say.
I mean the divine essence of love. It is e v e r y w h e r e.
It’s that feeling of warmth you get when you’re cozy in bed. It’s the sun glinting in through your window. It’s hearing people share laughter, it’s looking into a stranger’s eyes, it’s smiling at a mom to let her know you think that her young child is not a bother and you understand her position. It’s the feeling of watching a sunset, of hearing your favorite song, of playing an instrument, or painting a scene. It’s a flower beginning to bloom, birds chirping in the morming, the sound of the ocean lulling you into calmness. It’s the moments where you find a penny on the ground, or you remember something you almost forgot, or seeing repeating numbers on the clock.
It’s the things that remind you that some universal force is looking out for you. It’s the moments that make life worth the trouble.
If you don’t see what i’m describing as love in these moments, look for it. Feel for it. It’s there, and it’s so, so important to take note of. It’s a reminder of what life’s all about.
